So I kind of have these friends. Not really, but kind of. I went to school with Matt and knew Lauren through mutual friends. I heard from people that they were pregnant and decided to check up on them on their blog (because I am a blog stalker). I soon learned how amazing these people are and how, no matter what comes up in their life, they will give God all of the glory in everything. They started blogging about their baby when they found out they were pregnant, but I really started paying attention when Lauren went to the hospital at around 22 or 23 weeks because she was going into early labor. I remember praying so hard that she would not have this baby yet. It felt like such a long journey of prayer at the time, but I had no idea what was to come.

Lauren Made it to 35 weeks and had Life Larson on 7/31/08. Life got sick very quickly and had to be care flighted to Children's Medical Center. She was struggling through a virus, and pulmonary hypertension. Its crazy to think that it has only been almost one month since little life was born. I feel like I have been praying for a year. Anyway, she was hooked up to this machine called an ECMO machine that basically helped her body to function. I am pretty sure it did everything for her. I am obviously not a doctor so I will not even begin to try to explain what was going on.

All I know is that it has been almost one month. Life is not in the clear yet, but she got to go home today. I feel like I need to meet this little girl. She is a miracle and her parents have given God the glory every step of the way. I strongly encourage you to read their blog. You can really start in May if you want to get the entire story. The way that they write this blog is so wonderful. You really get a glimpse into their life, their thoughts, and their souls. It has been an amazing experience to be able to pray hard for this little girl and see how God has continued to heal her and give her life. She is a true testimony of God's grace, mercy, and love.

Thank you so much for posting about Life. I read the blog during my lunch break and wow, what an incredible story of faith and miracles. Sending up a big P R A I S E to the Lord for such a powerful answer to so many prayers
Wow...I love reading these blogs and stories of strangers' lives...they are still our sisters and bros in Christ, so it's cool to share their prayer requests with each other! And it gives me another blog to stalk! :) Thanks for posting, Sarah!
Sarah,
You are so precious for posting our story on your blog. God has been so gracious and merciful to us. And he used your prayers to heal our little girl. Your prayers for our little girl have blessed us so much. Thank you for being our voice when we didn't know what to pray... or much less how to pray. Towards the end of our hospital stay, I didn't know what to pray. The words just wouldn't come. So, thanks for praying those words for me.
And thanks for sharing our story.
TO GOD BE THE GLORY for ALL that he has done through Life's life. He has given her life and for that we are eternally grateful.
Abundant blessings to you my friend.
Lauren
