So Many Exciting Things!!

There are so many exciting things happening in our life right now, and it sucks because I cant tell the blogging world about them!! I cant share anything. We are not pregnant, so get that out of your head. We have just finally decided to listen to God and respond to Him in the correct way. With that comes PEACE beyond belief, excitement, fear, and sadness...but more peace than I could ever imagine.

Have you ever done something that you dont want to do, but you know you are supposed to do it, so you do it and then you feel this peace?! (confusing sentence) Its awesome. I dont know why we dont follow God's will more often. We would all be more joyful. Notice I did not say happier because with following God's will comes sadness sometimes, a loss of comfort, loneliness, and other stuff, but the peace that passes all understanding is so worth it!

It's so interesting and crazy and confusing to think about God's will. I have been trying to pray how Jesus tells us to pray "Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven." God's will isnt always something that we like. It doesnt always make us happy in the end. (ex: His will might be that someone we love dies.) BUT we are supposed to pray for His will no matter what. His will is always best. We might not understand it and it might cause us sadness, but in the end, His purpose in creating all of us was to be glorified, and even if we dont understand that sometimes, it is what is right and good.

So tonight when I am getting ready for bed and I pray (in my own version of course) "Your Kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven." I will have serious peace, because I know without a doubt that I am (maybe for the first time in my life on a serious measure) following God's will and desiring it above all else.

That's all. Wish I could share more, but I cant at this time. I would just encourage you to really seek God's will for you life. Not your will. His. Makes a BIG difference and it wont be easy, but it will be worth it.
