So I was watching last night and enjoying myself until David Cook finished singing and the judges started talking. Normally it is the judges who bother me, but last night it was most definitely David Cook. Could he be any more full of himself?! EWWW. I thought he did a great job last night, but I cannot stand him.

Here is the problem. We tivo'd the show so I was watching it about two hours after it was on. So, David Cook is singing and I'm thinking, "Hey. This is good. I should call and vote for him." So I call. I make my one vote, but then finishes singing and he starts getting all smug and full of himself. This makes me want to cancel out my vote for him. So, now I must call and vote for every other contestant. The entire time, John is laughing at me and thinking that I am nuts, but I really don't want him (David) to NOT get kicked off because of my one vote for him (it could happen). I could be the vote that keeps him in the race.
So, I'm calling for every other contestant as I watch them. (in order to cancel out my vote for David) BUT, as I'm watching some of them, (Brooke White and Jason Castro) I am loving them and wanting to vote more than once for them.
(I love Jason! He is so sweet and shy and humble)
(Brooke Rocks! She is just fabulous, and she loves Jesus)
Dilemma? I think so. I start making more phone calls. I then decide that I should also vote for Kristy Lee Cook because I feel bad for her, and then I decide that Chickezie was so good last week, that he deserved another few votes this week. Carly Smithson was just amazing. I have no idea what Simon was talking about! Her voice is BEAUTIFUL! I also felt bad for Michael Johns because I think he is nice, and I didn't think he did that bad, So I voted for him too. (remember I have all of these votes plus a vote for each person to cancel out David's vote)
By the time I finish making my phone calls for all of the contestants, I have voted 27 times. Now this means that I have made over at least 50 phone calls because you can't get through every time you call.
So to conclude, David Cook owes me money for my cell phone bill, and he needs to not be so full of himself!

You are so funny...Yeah, last night's show was not the best and I have no idea what Simon was smoking when he dissed Carly...weird. was he even listening to the same song..

Go girl! I'm so glad you voted for everyone else...except Kristy Lee Cook...not a fan of her. Don't worry about trying to vote for her! I LOOOOVED Carly, and I'm a big Brooke fan! We'll have to keep them out of the bottom 3! :)
I feel like I should be watching... maybe I'll start... when is it on? I know, I'm a loser for not knowing. :-)
American Idol has become a Joke. It's all about the ratings and no longer about true talent. People are picked that could not sing to save their lives. How could Fox TV allow this show to go so wrong. There are so many people who have real talent, that are not picked because Fox TV and the Judges would rather put fools on the TV, and all for the ratings. If you feel you really have a talented voice, don't waste your time or money trying out for this show. Shame on the judges and Fox TV for turning away real talent, and picking those who are foolish enough to place them selves in the publics eye when they can't even hold a note.
So true about American Idol. The show has become a joke. I was told last season that a person was picked who wore a clown costume and jumped up and down, he never sang, and was picked. JOKE JOKE JOKE
