Food Diary Day 1....yet again

Man, it really does help to know that I have to tell you guys what I'm eating. It helps because it makes me count the calories when I put something in my mouth, and it helps because I don't want to embarrass myself by eating too much crap. Also, I'm training for the turkey trot 8 mile, but have shin splints right now, so tonight I'm going to go to the gym and be on that good ol elliptical trainer for at least an hour. No fun but I am always happy when I am finished and have accomplished my goal! My overall goal is to lose 10 lbs in the next 5 weeks. The below picture is not what I weigh, just a pic that I stole from google images:) Time to get back on the saddle and lose some weight!Thanks for the encouraging words! When I'm super model skinny, Ill have y'all to thank:)
So today so far I have had coffee with 75 calories worth of creamer. I have also had an apple for about 90 calories. A Chicken in Peanut Sauce Lean Cuisine for 270 calories and at least 100 calories worth of cake. That puts me at 535 oh shoot. I had a Hershey's kiss for 27 cals. 562 for the day and its only 3!!!...Ok so the rest of the day did not go so well...lets say it was because it was day one and I got used to eating crap and eating out. I had to packs of dorritos (100 calorie packs) so thats 200 and then John and I went to Chilis and blew the entire thing! We had chips and queso, I had the quesadilla explosion salad (nothing healthy about that) and then we split dessert which was a chocoloate brownie with ice cream...Now, if you are not trying to lose weight, this was a great deal at Chilis. Its an appetizer, two entrees, and one dessert for $20! Thats pretty good! Ok so to salvage a little bit of my night, I then went to the gym and did the eliptical for an hour and 25 minutes. I figure I burned about 650 calories. The thing told me I burned like 900 but I dont believe it, so Im going with 650. Thats all for day one. I must do better tomorrow!
